Our St. Patrick's Day

This St. Patrick's Day when the girls woke-up they discovered that silly Leprechauns had filled their shoes with treats!

I sent Grace off to school, wearing green (for some reason I didn't take a picture!) and with a very green lunch.

Jilian also had to get decked out in green and have her own green lunch.

During the day, Jilian and I baked Irish soda bread, oh so yummy! I got the recipe from Susan over at Days Too Short.

Once daddy got home we ate our corn beef, cabbage, Irish soda bread and daddy had to have a Guinness, of course!

Then I remembered "hey I can set the timer and be in the picture too!"

Hope you had a fun St. Patrick's Day!

Hi Sarah,

Thank you so much for your kinds words on my "Cottage Style" feature. It means the world to me.

Now, let me tell you something... I call everyone I love "Pumpkin or Sweet Pea". As a matter of fact, inside my husbands wedding band it reads.. "I love you sweet pea"!

How can you not call those two precious gems sweet peas and pumpkin? They are perfect.
