St. Patrick's Day Vintage Postcard Blocks
This week for Vintage Thingies Thursday I wanted to share the blocks I made using vintage St. Patrick's Day postcards (reproductions). Be sure to visit the Colorado Lady to join in the fun!
My little blocks start out as simple 2x4 scraps from my husband's job site. I then sand the edges, spray paint them, choose my vintage image (there are many sites online that share them for free), print the image on card stock, add special touches such as glitter and ink, mod podge the postcard to the block and finish with ribbon. Not too hard and fun to make! They make me happy each time I look at them! :-)

Cute Sarah!
Hi Sarah! Cute blocks! I'll have to try some. Question about the mod podge, though - do you use in on just the back of the paper, or front also? I ask because when I use it on the front, my ink blurs some, and I have a nice HP printer, too. I use Plaid Royal Coat, not Mod Podge brand - wonder if there's a difference. Thanks! You can email an answer from my blog.
